About

“An educational archive that encourages culturists and Liberal Arts students in the GCC to become exposed to readings in the topics of culture and identity.”

Founded by Khawla Al-Marri in 2018, ‘Eduqate’ is an educational archive that encourages culturists and Liberal Arts students in the GCC to become exposed to readings in the topics of culture and identity. Education is a complex field that needs to be simplified. Eduqate defines Education as the concept of learning something new that empowers humans’ critical thinking level, it’s a key for exploration. People who lived in the Arabian Gulf were introduced to the concept of storytelling hundreds of years ago, they were exposed to emotional stories that connected them to objects, locations and memories.

The purpose of Eduqate is to change perceptions about education by displaying culture and creating an “entertaining” educational experience with a click of a button. Eduqate offers interpretations of elements that shape culture such as TV shows, songs, plays and locations. We want learners to enjoy what is displayed before their eyes, understand it’s elements and have a conversation about it.

Eduqate is constantly seeking for collaborations and partnerships.
